Our full-time program provides a comprehensive learning experience with four days of in-person instruction, Monday through Thursday, and an asynchronous learning day on Fridays. On Fridays, students will complete a guided assignment or activity designed to extend their learning. They will return on Monday prepared to share their work with their learning community, fostering collaboration and critical thinking.

Vida Ventures: After School Programming

Our part-time program is ideal for families seeking a balanced schedule. Students attend in-person instruction on Mondays and Tuesdays, with Fridays reserved for asynchronous learning.

Vida Ventures offers students exciting afterschool opportunities to explore and grow through three dynamic programs:

  • Vida Art + Design: Inspires creativity and self-expression through engaging artistic projects.

  • STEM Quest: Sparks curiosity and critical thinking with hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math activities.

  • Language Lab: Enhances bilingual learning through immersive, interactive language experiences.

Each program provides a fun and enriching experience that encourages exploration beyond the classroom.

  • To ensure the best experience for our part-time students, Plan B attendance is set for Mondays and Tuesdays. These days are essential for starting the week strong, participating in share-outs from our asynchronous day, and engaging with new content introduced on Mondays. This structure helps create a consistent and supportive learning environment for all students.

  • We are actively finalizing a location that will accommodate our growing community for the first few years of Vida Academy. Rest assured, the school will be located in the Richmond area to serve our local families. As soon as we have secured our space, we will update the website and promptly share the details with all interested families.   • Our school operates Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM for in-person learning. Fridays are asynchronous learning days, where students complete assignments or activities at home to bring back and share with their learning community on Monday. This schedule supports a balanced and flexible approach to learning while fostering independence and collaboration.

  • We want to ensure that Vida Academy is the right fit for your family—and for us! That’s why we offer a 30-day happiness guarantee. This trial period allows families to determine if we’re the best fit for their needs and gives our team the opportunity to evaluate whether we can meet each student’s needs effectively.

    After the 30-day period, all enrollment plans transition to full-year commitments, including mid-year enrollments. Re-registration will occur annually for all enrolled students to ensure continued alignment with your family’s needs and our program’s goals. This structure supports the success and stability of our learning community while fostering a positive experience for all.

  • In our first year, Vida Academy will serve students in Kindergarten and 1st grade. Each year, we plan to grow by adding an additional grade, ultimately serving students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This intentional growth ensures a strong foundation and community as we expand.
